Chicago Dog

The iconic Chicago Dog, made better with a scratch-made New England-style bun. Zenner's all beef frank with pickle, relish, tomatoes, sport peppers, onions, and mustard, dusted with celery salt. 

House Dog

Inspired by Madison, Wisconsin's Plaza Burger. Zenner's all-beef frank topped with bacon, tomatoes, melted Swiss cheese, and your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing.


Texas BBQ Beef Dog

For that classic Texas BBQ beef flavor. Zenner's all-beef frank topped with chopped onions, sliced pickles, Texas red BBQ sauce, and crispy potato sticks.


South Carolina BBQ Pork Dog

If you prefer South Carolina’s mustard-based pork BBQ. A delicious Hill's pork Doggie, topped with chopped onions, sliced pickles, house-made Carolina Gold BBQ sauce, and fried pork rinds.

Buffalo Wing Dog

Buffalo wings in delicious hot dog form. Our own chicken dog, topped with buttery, spicy Buffalo sauce, chopped celery, chopped carrots, and your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing. And don't forget the crispy chicken skin!

With the best scratch-made chili sauce you've ever had!

Believe it or not, Tale of the Dog's standard scratch-made hot dog bun is vegan. Many of our sauces and toppings are vegan too, including our Texas and South Carolina BBQ sauces, our ketchup, and our mustard.

But what about our hot dogs?

We rolled out our great VEGAN hot dog on Friday, July 31st. Unfortunately, we didn't sell enough to be able to continue selling them. We will offer them at special events, like the Talent Harvest Festival on October 3rd.

You can't have a great hot dog experience without a great hot dog bun. That's why we bake our New England-style hot dog buns in house. But what about folks who are gluten free? Tale of the Dog has a great gluten-free hot dog bun too, only $1 extra. Sorry, but our gluten free bun is not vegetarian (it has butter and eggs). Our standard bun is vegan, though.

We have house made Luzianne iced tea and lemonade made from real, honest-to-goodness fresh lemon juice (not that "from concentrate" stuff). Or combine them for a delicious Arnold Palmer.

We also offer various Lay's potato chips, including Ruffles, Cheetos, Doritos, and BBQ. Cole slaw, mac and cheese, and Frito pie are coming soon. Follow us to be among the first to try our new sides!
