Before moving to Ashland twelve years ago, I lived in Madison, Wisconsin. At that time, it seemed as if every Home Depot had a hot dog cart that served Chicago Dogs. I'd heard of the Chicago Dog, but had never tried one. One day, I finally did, and I learned that a hot dog could be truly special. Since then, I've learned that there are dozens, if not hundreds of regional (and international) variations on the humble hot dog. Tale of the Dog's mission will be to bring as many of them to you as I can.
